 Marvin Jaggers 

Pontotoc -   Marvin Autry Jaggers-79, passed away at the VA Hospital in Oxford, MS on August 28, 2015. He was born on August 29, 1936 to Beachum Moore and Hester Washington Jaggers. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He served four years aboard the U.S.S. Manchester in the United States Navy servicing in the Far East, Korean War, Japan and China. He is a lifetime member of the VFW in Tupelo and American Legion. He is a family of 5 generations.
  Service will be at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc on September 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Bro. Westmoreland and Bro. Greg Herndon officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Grove Cemetery. Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
  He is survived by his wife-Bobbie Jaggers; two sons-Barry Jaggers (Anita) and Jeff Jaggers; one daughter-Cristi Simmons (Eddie); three grandchildren-Molly Jaggers Edwards, Cole and Brittni Jaggers; three great-grandchildren-Ivy Edwards, Hunter Brannigan and Jaggers Edwards and one sister-Martha Faye Huey.
  He is preceded in death by his parents-Beachum Moore and Hester Adeline Jaggers; two brothers-Palmer Jaggers and Delmer Jaggers and one sister-Lazette Jaggers Livington.
  Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 11:00 am until service at 2:00 pm at Baldwin Nowell Funeral Home.
